It's hard to find a good practitioner out there that is skilled, affordable, caring AND socially conscious!  We found it all in Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City!  Joanne and I both get treatments here pretty often.  A friend of ours recommended Miss Sonja Sivesind for our acupuncturist and we've stayed with her ever since.  She's genuinely kind, fair and effective.  She is a sweet woman who treats us with respect and keeps our bodies in great health so we can do more work in the community.  For all the reasons above and ESPECIALLY for making wellness accessable for all communities is why we write this love note to Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City!  Thank you for your dedication to all communities!

Love,

Biking is GREAT exercise!  We all know this.  But I didn't know how EXPENSIVE it could be to purchase a reliable bike until recently!  Luckily Joanne already knew this and told me not to waste time looking on the internet for affordable, reliable bikes.  For my birthday, she took me down to Bike Works in Columbia City.  We walked in and there were a bunch of bikes for sale.  I took one of their bikes out for a spin and fell in love with it and thought,"This has got to be a pretty expensive bike!"  When I looked at the price tag, I thought it was a mistake.  So amazed that I was riding a bike that I'm sure could've gone for $300 on Craigslist (but had a price tag that was about half that), I spoke to the folks hard at work on other bikes about what Bike Works is all about.  Their whole thing is getting bikes donated, inviting youth to come by to learn how to work on bikes, and when they complete the training, they get to pick a bike out!   You could tell that the folks that work there, really love what they're doing because everyone was in such great spirits.  In the shop there is so much information about local bike trails, events, bike camps, news and other stuff great for our community!  For all the reasons above and ESPECIALLY for promoting healtheir & sustainable living is why we write this love note to Bike Works!  Thanks for your dedication to our youth!

Love,
bOo & Joanne
