The Story of Our Rain Barrels  Most of our rain barrels are 55 gallon. They are 22" in diameter and 35" in height. The styles and colors and sizes of barrels will vary depending on what our supplier gets from nationwide dealers. Other sizes we have available are 50 and 60 gallon. Other colors we have available are red and brown. Bung top barrels will always be available, however, open top barrels are harder to come by, so we stock up on them whenever we can but may run out of stock every now and then.  This means that they are completely enclosed with two 2" threaded holes at the top with white screw on lids.) If you just want barrels to harvest rain, or store drinking water, these are the most cost effective barrels. Pictured to the left is a 55 gallon barrel.   We also carry 3 types of open top barrels. These barrels can be used in many applications for rain harvesting. Because you have access inside, you can plumb into them if you are connecting barrels together. You can also take the lids completely off and span a screen across the top. The picture in the middle is of 2 55 gallon barrels. The 3rd type is a 50 gallon twist off lid in reddish-brown.
